A brand new reproduction of the classic Mid Century Modern Designed Kidney Bean Coffee Table An Atomic Era Design In Dyed Bamboo.
Modeled after an original design, this table has the same sleek lines from the atomic era. The table top is made from 4-6 year old moso bamboo with a vertical grain core and horizontal grain on the faces. The caramelized bamboo is dyed black to make a deep rich tone. You can faintly see the grain of the bamboo (see last photo).
The dimensions are 43″ long x 23″ wide x 16.75″ tall. The tapered legs are made from walnut and hand dyed black. The table top is finished with three coats of satin varnish to protect the bamboo while letting the richness of the black grain show through.
Because grain and the dying process varies each time, plus our computer screen resolutions, the table may be a little lighter or darker than the pictures, but it’s pretty black.
